Bath Fan Radiation Dampers
Bath Fan Radiation Dampers - Contractor / None is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Many local codes require the installation of a ceiling radiation damper to protect the bath fan opening against the spread of heat and fire through the ductwork. Installed between the housing and grille, the damper employs an insulation blanket that closes off the opening in an emergency by means of a heat-sensitive fusible link. Our ceiling dampers meet UL Standard 555C and are labeled for use in fire-resistive floor/ceiling membranes.

FOR A SAFER HOME
Radiation dampers work to restrict the spread of fire by closing off the bath fan opening. Install a damper with your contractor-grade, SH series, or MS series bath fan for added protection should an emergency occur.
